We’ve put together this short guide to give you our top three bits of advice when designing and ordering your Banner.
- Material? – Banners are typically printed on PVC but with the Winter months looming, we recommend Mesh – it has tiny holes in which allow the wind to pass through without damaging your banner. Your banner won’t look any different and will be hemmed to prevent any fraying.
- Hems? – we always recommend hemming for long term use of banners but you may not need them if your banner is going up for a short period of time. In these cases, we use Hemming tape, a strong strip of reinforced material to keep your banner’s edges protected from the elements.
- Eyelets or Tape? If you’re hanging your banner up on a fence, building or car, we recommend you opt for eyelets so you can easily use cable ties or straps to fix your banner in place. For all other applications, we recommend double sided tape so you can stick your banner to walls, surfaces or flat objects.
